چکیده

The aim of the study is to describe the differentiation of the cortical plate in human foetuses aged 9-11 weeks. Histological sections showed that in this early period of development the cortical plate is differentiated into two zones. The external zone is composed of vertical columns of cells, which are perpendicular to the cortical surface. The internal zone is wider and consists of irregularly arranged clusters of cells.

Early development of the neocortex in human foetuses aged 9 weeks.

A study was made of human embryos at the end of 8 weeks and foetuses aged 9 weeks. It was shown that at the beginning of the foetal period the cortical plate, which is the primordium of the neocortex, covers the whole surface of the cerebral hemisphere. The plate consists of 8-12 rows of densely packed cells. Below the cortical plate is the subplate.

Unique Carbohydrate Appearance of the Floor Plate During Early Neurolation

During early neurogenesis, the floor plate plays an essential role(s) in the differentiation of the ventral portion of neural tube. In this study, we detected the specific distribution of unique glycoconjugate during the floor plate differentiation. Formalin fixed paraffin sections of BALB/c mice (10-14 embryonic days) were processed for histochemical studies using horseradish peroxidase-labell...

Tangential migration of neocortical neurons in early human foetuses.

The aim of the present study is to describe the tangential migration of cortical neurons in early human foetuses aged 9-11 weeks. Histological sections showed that in this early period of development most of the neurons migrate along radial glia, but there is also tangential migration, especially from the lateral eminence.

The Role of Glycoconjugates in Development of Floor Plate During Early Morphogenesis in Mouse Embryo

The floor plate is a small group of cells located at the ventral midline of neural tube. During early neurogenesis the floor plate plays critical role (s) in differentiation of ventral portion of neural tube. The purpose of this study was to determine the distribution of glycoconjugates in floor plate as well as underlying mesoderm (notochord) and their inductive activities in mouse embryos.Form...

P-52: Brain-Derived Neurotrophic Factor Promotes The Development of Human Ovarian Early Follicles during Growth In Vitro

Background Cryopreservation of ovarian cortex is increasingly used to preserve fertility before cancer therapy. Recently, studies show that Brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF) may be involved in oocyte maturation. Brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF) is member of neurotrophin family that has anti-apoptotic effects on nervous system. Recent researches show that it also plays key role in...
